Flashcard fields: part of speech, (multiple line) expression, phon. transcription, difficulty, synonyms, counterparts in another language (sepd. by linebreaks), example sentences, a single :-( wave file. Training options: ask synonyms or foreign counterparts, display example sentences, you can time displays and customize how many answer tries are allowed. Questions can be reversed, User input check options: case sensitive, ignore certain characters, ignore certain words (articles), take words and their abbreviations (customizable list) for the same. Training modes: (1) typical, (2) multiple choice (five options, taken randomly from the rest of the cards). You can correct flashcards during a training session. Selective learning: choose from one of six Leitner stages or take cards from any stage (at random); train only certain parts of speech. List, also hierarchical view (three levels: each file consists of "books">"lessons">"sheets"). Stats (percentage for every file). Print lists. Customizable special characters dock. Extras: memory game, resort scrambled letters, crosswords, hangman. Multiuser. Settings allow to specify which commands are accessible to each user. Import (mdb, dbf, txt files). The English expressions in the sample file are not always correct... Bugs: does not appear in the ALT+TAB sequence. |
